Is the D7000 overexposure in bright light / probematic AF still an issue? -

D7000 was not faster for AF that was my perception. And Imaging resource back that up too  with their AF tests. But it's not really a big deal.

Broken yes as in poorly calibrated. But even so in low light the D7000 is slow..really quite slow to lock and hunts quite a bit, aside from quite a few more AF points (if you use them open to debate) I don't think the AF is much of a step up from the D90 if at all.

People tend to place a lot of weight on marketing and brochures 39 point AF sounds great..but Nikon are not that fast for AF, not v other makers.
