Apparently, you won't get a straight answer to your question on this forum.
I'm not much help either. I've got the black X100 but the leather case is packed away with the box it came in, and not readily accessible. I have no idea what color the interior is.
Instead of the leather case, I use the Grip-Case from J B Camera designs.

It's black like my camera and allows me to set the camera down on various surfaces without worrying about scratching up the baseplate. The camera is more "grippable" with the Grip-Case and I still have access to the SD slot and battery compartment.
