First photos with X-E1 and 35mm 1.4

So I've made the switch from the brilliant X100.

Today was my first chance to use the camera so I ducked away from the desk for 30 mins to grab some shots. Its going to take a bit of getting used to, after having a 35mm for 18 months my eye is really trained for that angle now. I was finding the jump to 50mm quite hard. I'm sure my eye will adjust. It was catching me out though, especially trying to fit shop fronts in.

I gave up try upload via dpreview as a gallery, the photos weren't uploading at all. These are jpegs from the camera and then 85% quality on export. All colours are straight from the camera! B&W were some presets I just had in Lightroom. All shot in JPEG, not RAW.

I'm totally blown away! An amazing bit of kit.

Great pop at 1.4

at 1.4. So sharp!

Not used to the narrow view of the 50 FOV here, used to a 35mm!

Out of the camera, I think this was Velvia as were the other colour shots. I was mucking around a lot.
