Why conservatives are so....

Quite radical ideas you have there....forcing private industry to do what the gov. wants... that has about as much chance as a snowball in hell.  Obama and others are finding out that it is VERY expensive to try to force a technology (ie all electric cars) before the technology has matured...technology can be helped along but it has a way of taking it's time no matter how much money is spent on it.

I'm sorry but the world as we know it cannot run on the power of the sun....the energy from the sun is too diffuse, not concentrated enough....just not practical nor will it ever be....not that it can't be a supplemental source.

...and why is it that I often heard that it is a bad thing that we will pass our national debt on to our children and grandchildren to pay, yet only a few seem concerned that we are using up their oil supplies?
