Good Lens/Body options for street photography?

In big cities with many tourists prevalent it's no problem is my experience.​I love Amsterdam for streetphotography. In case you take pictures that might be interpreted the wrong way go talk to the subject or at least interact so it's obvious you want to take pictures and if people don't want their picture taken you can respect that or become a sniper (the 70-200 is ideal for the latter btw). Wear grey blue or black and leave your clownssuite at home. I picked the Canon 15-85 f3.5-5.6 IS USM for street.
