CrashPlan perhaps?

Heidi recently lost a lot of photos (possibly tens of thousands) and other stuff due to a hard drive crash. We had the drive checked by a recovery company, and it appears to be an internal failure, which would cost no less than $1000, and very likely more, to attempt recovery.
Someone recommended the online backup company CrashPlan to us, which we are considering trying.
We also plan to start doing regular local backups to external drives (I backed up my PC right after her crash, since it had been a while), and probably go back to our old method of copying all our memory cards to both of our computers instead of to just one (too bad we hadn't been doing that recently).
