Feisol leg angle modification

Maybe the problem is not as big as you think. I have an CT3442, which has the same problem. The first stop is too narrow, and the second stop is too wide in most cases.  But you can use it between the first and second stop, and it will stay put. ( except when you are ond a slippery surface ) This is also a fine way to adjust the height of the tripod. Just by spreading the legs more ore less. Spikes on your tripod will only enhance this way of working, but go for the long spikes, as the short spikes are useless.
