I've only had the 50-200 (older) a few days, but find it handles reasonably well on my OM-D.
Bigger & heavier than the Panny 100-300 it will be the alternative to, but certainly not unwieldy (I am used to 400+ mm lenses on film cameras).
In most cases, it focuses within a second or so. Also used with with the 1.4 multiplier with encouraging results.
My take is, if I can take the 100-300, then the 50-200 isn't that much more....
