That too is my experience with the Monochrom.

Delightfully wonderful and pliable output files to do as you wish. I believe most people who have an interest and have followed discussions online will already know that the files are generally quite flat anyway straight out of camera, even when exposed correctly (whatever that means) but exhibits great latitude in post processing. Nothing a straight forward "S" tonal curve adjust cannot redress.

Even after a few months of shooting, I am not even closed to feeling indifferent about the images I get from the sensor.

From what I hear, Solm is soon pushing out a second batch of this camera - much of it already accounted for judging from pre-orders. So I am informed.
