Heh, heh. Well, you know, being "entertained" is a "state of mind" thing. Can be subjective and transitory. When all the confetti has fallen to the ground, and the straight-jackets have all been issued and the electrode-cream has all been consumed, I myself restrict terms "useful" as well as "informative" to meanings relating to the "machinery" that is (ostensibly) being discussed ...
In all honesty, "useful" and "informative" are every bit as subjective as "entertaining".
And here I thought that we had unraveled the deep mysteries of "read-noise per unit area" ...
Might the term "entermation" be more apropo than the somewhat more familiar "infotainment" ?
