OMD User tips - the Fn2 button is 4 buttons in a row
Nov 19, 2012

This is a neat trick for those that need it.

The Fn2 button is by default set to control the highlight and shadow curve; it can also be used for:

White Balance Settings

Aspect Ratio

You can dial through any of these 4 by pressing and holding the FN2 button and scrolling the main dial for your right thumb.

Then you can repress the fn2 button again and make your settings for the set function.

I choose to set it at magnify; then I can have the 14X focus point when i need it.

I also set the fn1 button to 2X multiplier.  I can press the fn1 button for the magnifiier; then press the fn2 button for the 14x multiplier; then I have the most accurate focus point available on the OMD, and with RAW shooting, can 'recompose' shots after I take the shot if needed.
