The reason I did the test was because I was doing close up portraits of couples and I could see their hair on the left and right top of the frames was very extended that far into the frame.

It was definitely real world pictures that I first noticed there was a problem........and only AFTER I received the lens back from Canon after the refurbish.

Based on my second test and with results showing 3 different points of focus on the same plane tells me my lens has a serious misalignment issue.

I am calling Canon tomorrow.........again to return the lens (for the 4th time). At least now I have an explanation with samples that prove my point.
