RX100 broken...

Purchased my RX100 from Calumet in San Francisco 9 days ago. The 'barn doors' that open and close when the camera is turned on and off and protect the lens stopped working. Partially opens when turned on. And only the top part closes when turned off. Anyone else encounter this?
Calumet said they will do a full refund, or exchange except they are out of stock at the moment. Bummer about the camera...
