Because there is no electronic connection between legacy lenses and the NEX body, the camera does not know the aperture you are shooting at and has to meter with only the visual information ont he sensor. In addition, the camera does not know the full capabilities of the lens that is attached when we use vintage glass.

What may be happening is that the camera is not choosing a slower shutter speed than you need it to be.

A lot of the time, I find that my NEX-5N and NEX-6 will simply shoot at 1/60 shutter speed for many shots, regardless of lighting conditions. I shoot in S (shutter priority) when using manual glass, so I'll just beef up the shutter speed (maybe up to 1/160 for portraits, 1/250 - 1/400 for night sports) and the lens will take care of itself.

Try a faster shutter speed to see if things clear up!
