Hi go with the 64bit I have just done the same coming from xp pro sp3 and the only thing I can not get to work is my very old flatbed scaner (epson 2480) I find it very stable with LR4.3 & CS2 even CNX2 NX2 work fine as dose Bibble 5pro. And all my 32bit programs I even have Office pro 2000 working.
