Why DSLR?

Well there is the difference. You take picture just to capture the time. Most dslr user are hobbist and use their camera as such. Is not just capturing the image it's making it some that appeals to them.  So to each thier own on how they chose to spend their hard earn money. Photography is a great hobby. I think everyone needs a hobby. Photography allows you to have a hobby and a way to express yourself. Don't call use fools for spending our money the way we see fit.
