A65 plus kit lenses or Tamron 18-270 PZD?

If you are talking about the Sony 18-55, the 18-270 PZD Tamron is a better lens. If you are talking about the Sony 16-50, that's different.You can not beat the 16-50 Sony for it's price and sharpness.

The 18-270 is a pretty good lens, it just gets pretty soft at anything over 200mm. On the other hand it's nearly silent focus and six year warranty is great.

It may be that the 16-105 is the best compromise.
