Nope, but maybe if you have a truly dire screen and poor eyesight it could be true for you.

In the hands of a sensible photographer DSLR images have the potential to capture much greater detail, sharpness and depth of colour and dynamic range.

On a sunny day it is probably true that a non-photo-enthusiast might say a photo taken on an Olympus XZ-1 is actually 'better' because they like the kind of presentation that camera's processing engine turns out. Such people can also be fooled if you use local contrast enhancement in USM (ie. 38, 12,1)
