How about if I could use a pen on it and draw or paint on the screen, masks, areas to cut out or blend with a layer behind, now if the pen had a button that I could select or toggle, undo stroke, erase, make brush transparent. That might be interesting.
The system of the eye, the mouse pointer, and the brain ... the three work together very well.
I'd wonder if a "digital pen" can provide the same level of precision as a mouse, but in any case, the mouse works very, very well, and you don't have to hold the weight of your arm and hand up in the air while you're working.
