Iceland Gallery with D3X, D700

Didn't receive my d800E in time for my trip to Iceland back in May. I have a few more pics to process but happy so far. I have printed a pano 24" X 7 (D3x) feet and a single shot 24"x 34" (D700) and have people with their noses into the images and thought they looked fab. Granted the D700 shot was of the iceberg (second shot) so not a lot of detail but goes to show that for the right type of image, a lowly d700 can produce excellent results ;). Lenses used: 24 PC-E, 45 PC-E, 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 14-24 2.8.
Some of the shots in the gallery where taken in pouring rain (for > 6 hours), with no camera or lens protection. It was also very windy ( > 60 km/h) so the lens needed to be wiped before each shot and most of the time it still didn't work out (even with hood on) as the front lens was covered with rain as soon as you wiped and clicked trigger. So for you people wondering about how good the weather sealing is on these things..not to worry. In fact, by brothers digital roots watch stopped working in the rain but not his cameras (D800, D200).

Comments are most welcome. The rest of the gallery can be viewed at: http://www.bykulvinder.com/p367657725
