Aperture pre-processing RAW files w too much contrast and extreme WB
Nov 18, 2012

I got Nikon D800 and now when I load files to Aperture it is sort of pre-processing them while "Loading..." and the previews are horrible, extreme vivid. WB is totally off, contrast is too high and etc. When the initial preview comes up it is close to what I see on the camera monitor but after Aperture is done with "Loading..." it is all adjusted with no option to roll back under Adjustment menu.

I never had this problem with D100/D200/D700. Is this because Aperture can't read D800 files correctly or is there a setting in camera on in Aperture I need to adjust?

Would much appreciate your advice.
