High ISO of D800 still amazes me as does the whole Nikon system

I am continually blown away by the ability of the D800, but also the whole Nikon system, ie superb lenses, VR, excellent AF etc, helping to make ordinary photogs look good!

Here are some Eastern Yellow Robins (Asutralian bird) shots I took the other day late afternoon and a very dull day under tree shade, around the 8EV mark.
