Actually, all of California/Oregon/Washington is home to some of the finest artesian agricultural products; inspired by the European model, particularly the Mediterranean climates, for example.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and worked in a high end restaurant that sat on 10 acres and had its own orchards, fruits and vegetables before it was even fashionable, for almost 30 years, which is where I received a first class food education from some of the best chefs of the Bay Area.

I kept a camera with me (an E-1, then an E-3) and shot plates of food before I took them out to the tables, when I had time, because I was in love with the beauty of the food we grew and served.

I'm no longer in the restaurant business, but the love of the food will always be with me.
