Can someone confirm this with XE-1 and 35?

Can someone confirm the following behavior for me...

When I put the 35mm lens on the XE-1 and press halfway down on the shutter release to focus, I notice something. It will focus fast enough, but as soon as it is done focusing it will take an extra fraction of a second to get the screen totally refreshed. During that fraction, edges of objects are terribly jagged but clear up. Again, it only takes a fraction of a second and it always does clear in that time and focus accurately, but I just don't remember the XPRO-1 doing this nor the 28mm lens doing this on the same XE-1 body that I am using (tried the 28 first but decided to go with the 35). It seems to do this no matter what F-stop I have the lens set to, but maybe slightly more the more I stop down. By the way, it happens using the back LCD or the EVF.

Can anyone take a look through their camera and this lens combo and see if it happens?
