sel 18-200 or sel 18-200le?

I have a 5n, and i would like to buy a sel 18-200. But, which one? The "le" version would fit better the small body, but I've never seen a comparison with the old one, which is surely a great lens.  I'm more interested in image quality. Slrgear test show that the "le" isn't good as the old one, but, of course, a real test could demostrate that the difference is not so big. thanks in advance. Luca.
