D600 focus system vs D700

My first question to you is do you actually own one or did you read this somewhere?  My keeper rate has gone up as well... I still struggle a little bit with DOF on my 50mm but am learning.  I'll blame this one one on operator error and not taking my time with the set up before I shoot....  Even though there are fewer focal points to the D600 it isn't a poor focusing camera by any stretch of the imagination.
