Hi Dave,

It was there at least 4000 years before I found it.  Dolmen's are portal tombs.  This one is probably the most photographed in Ireland. It is in the Burren, county Clare.  They are all over the Ireland, especially in the Burren.  This one was just in a field, barely visible from the road.



I suspect the capstone on the Poulnabrone Domain weighs more in the 10's of ton's.

The most remarkable part of my photo of the Domain photo is the lack of tourists, and it was taken in 2007 and it wasn't raining.
