A Commentary on Photo Legitimacy

if the aim is to produce the most striking and memorable image possible I think any amount of manipulation is perfectly fine and nor do i see any need for revealing what that manipulation is or does. in this context the image is everything, it's not about the "reality".

my only caveat on the above would be if the manipulation somehow maligns or negatively impacts a human subject.
