T3i, 18-55mm, 55-250mm: Will This Package Be Good For Me?

Since my aortic dissection, weight became an issue for me... which is why I went for the 550D over the 600D (t3i). I didn't really need the articulated screen either. The kit lenses are lighter too. The larger lenses would be an issue for me right now.

The SX50 will be lighter again, but can you still get SX40HS? It actually seems a bit better to me than the newer model. Not sure what other opinions are on that one.
