Easy Entertainment - It's 70-300 Showtime folks!!

Here are a few shots taken in May 2010, after a friend mentioned concerns over falling Honey-Bee populations. Right away this inspired a garden shoot. Happily, that concern has diminished, at least from what I've noticed since. Hope you like & thanks for looking -

Perhaps a bit tricky to shoot the 70-300 for me at the outset but the challenge helped me grow better skills, due in no small part to the work & discussions featured on this Forum. At the price I got the lens (new, in late 2009) it was a total steal - so here's a tip of the hat & a thanx to Oly - I've had fun with it since day 1 and no regrets at all.

There are a lot of lovely photos on this thread - certainly I've enjoyed the looking - it's a fitting tribute to a versatile piece of kit. I had difficulty selecting what to post and decided on the  'Bees & Garden Flowers' theme, to show the colours & quasi-macro results possible from a couple of expeditions with this lens into the deepest darkest reaches of the back-garden...
