The reason I ask is that I just got the K5IIs. I use Aperture to process my images. I see the same diferences in my images from the K5 and K5 IIs processed using the same settings using Aperture. Now, Aperture doesn't support PEF for K5IIs so I am using DNG (where I use PEF for K5), that might account for the different renderings.
