S1, S2, S3, S5 Wednesday thread 2012.11.14

Hi Alan,

This week I'm sans Fujis, but I am in great train country.  I'm in Devore, Ca, staying with my daughter while she recuperates from shoulder repair surgery.  I brought a (ahem ahem) Canon 10D  and Nikon D80 so I can possibly get some good shots.  Need some advise on best angles and apatures to use.  Have a 28-200mm for the Nikon and a 28-80 and 100-300 for the Canon.  Would certainly apppreciate some advise. We're just a few miles from a rr xing and can hear that "lonesome whistle blow" all night long.  Thank you.
