T4i Image Resoution 72 ppi

A standard LCD monitor has a resolution of 72 dpi. No matter what the dpi is the image is still xxx by yyy pixels.

It is only a matter of the size of the printed image, eg. xxx cm by yyy cm at 72 dpi or aaa cm by bbb cm at 200 dpi but still same amount of pixels.
