I have to admit I like the size and the 4-5 pics it took inside with low light. My biggest fear is lossing those small plastic caps. Any idea where to get a fell? Considering keeping it.
I don't have the newer cheaper plastic 40 that you have but I do have the older 40 mm. Limited which has a similar small metal screw-in lens cap and lens hood. Rather than risk losing them and finding their use quite finickity, I unscrewed both at the thread closest to the lens and replaced them with a screw-on rubber lens hood and a third party plastic clip-in lens cap that engages the outer threads of the rubber lens hood.
