SX50 Mini-Review Take Two - SX50 vs SX40 Head to Head from 24mm to 100mm

Many thanks VL.  This real life testing is what is needed when choosing either SX40 or 50.   Very well done.  I decided some time ago to forgo the minor upgrade from the 40 to 50 and this simply reinforces that decision.  Now the 60 just may do it.

As for the SX50 having a very slight edge in some areas of detail and in DR this seems likely due to in camera processing which can be accomplished in post.  Nothing wrong with either.
