Lens for full-height people shots.

Thanks for your opinions everyone. I think I'm going to get 50mm f/1.8D tomorrow (it costs around 100$ new, so it won't hurt my budget) and play around a bit with it and my other lenses. If I ever get to have D600, I might try 85 f/1.8, or go insane and buy Nikkor 24-70.
