What do I need?

Hi all,

I currently us a late 17" MBP with 8 Mb of ram.

Im finding it a bit slow when editing my files from the D800, so I'm considering a Mac Pro which is probably what I should have bought in the first place.

Icurrently edit it capture nx2, photoshop cs4and us Nik plug ins mainly silverfx.

What spec Mac Pro should I get?

Do I need a 12 core machine?

What Ram?

Should I install a SSD hard rivefor cashecache from photoshop?
