D7000 movie mode - getting the perfect exposure

Hi all!
Just wondering if anyone uses their d7000 for video works. I'm trying to use mine and I faced a problem. Can anyone advise, how do we get the perfect exposure when doing video? Theu do not show the exposure bar on the screen, so do we have to judge it? Pls advise. Thanks!!
