Red Dot

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I did not use any filter or hood, just shooting from the kit lens M.Zuiko 14-42mm II R.

But after reading all you inputs, I viewed my other shots, and found 1 that is without the Red Dot, and this is where the Sun is in the center of the shot.  This was suggested by al_in_philly.

Point the Sun dead center.

Two examples attached, could this be the solution, point brightest object in the center (that is the only center shot I have)?
