Nexus 7 update to v4.2

I just received an update to my Google Nexus 7 tablet.(16gb)

All automatic, no input on my part. Took a couple of minutes to perform and then after a auto reboot I have V.4.2

New to me for sure, as I have only had the tablet for a couple of weeks.

My question is on the Photo Gallery. I have a collection (200+) images of my Great Nephew's baby pictures in order of date taken, birth to at present  (9 months and continuing) and want to show the rest of the family a slide show, but I would like to alter the display time to some thing longer than what is presented. Very short at present maybe 1-2 seconds.

Thats one way. The other is to not use the Gallery, but put them on a flash drive using a OTG cable and "Media Importer APP" and some how have a slide show.

Any ideas?
