New camera for 10-year old?

I agree with the FZ200 (or other brand equivalent ) vote.  It's a toy for adults.  There isn't much that it won't do and won't do well.  And what a great platform to learn photography with every manual control there of you want it.  It will do twice as much as a micro 4/3s platform and 95% as well.  Do you remember being 10 years old?
