Like the others so far, no experience with D800, which can't be considered a "sports" lens in any sense.  The D600 isn't an ideal, but for indoor sports it can be quite useful:

As for lenses, I've been using the (old) 70-200/f2.8G AF-S VR (I) and the (older) 28-70/f2.8D AF-S.  The great high-ISO capability of this camera makes the f2.8 glass a viable option.

Other lenses I use for basketball are the 85/f1.8G AF-S and the Sigma 50/f1.4G HSM.  I compared the latter alongside the Nikon 50/f1.4 AF-S and thought the Sigma was better, though either are great ultra-fast lenses.  Not quite as attractive on an FX body as on DX, however.
