For Hockey, Figure Skating , Zoo and mostly landscapes is SEL55210 good enough?

Hi!
I just got NEX-6 with the kit and I have a 50mm 1.7 Pentax Prime plus a Tamron 70-300.

I am still waiting for my adapter but I feel I will be selling the Tamron and getting the 55-210 unless you guys think the 18-200 is much better for the activities I will use it for.

I like taking pictures of Utah Mountains and Canyons etc and mostly those sports I mentioned.

I was hoping 55-210 being much cheaper would be good enough instead of spending a lot more for the 18-200.

I like IQ a lot of course but I am not a Pro photographer so I have to limit how much I spend unless it is REALLY worth it.
