was there a printing problem with CS5: colors too dark

THis is a belated question but I am deciding whether to upgrade to CS6.  I used to be satisfied with my color management and printing output until the past year when I changed to CS5. SInce then I have had trouble achieving satisfactory results with printed colors matching my monitor, despite the usual efforts at color management (realizing that they will never match exactly).

I recently came across similar comments about problems with CS5 (compared to CS4) from some chat rooms from ~2 years ago.  Does anyone recognize this problem or was it just a few people who started a thread and not representative.

From what I have read, people seem generally to be having good results with CS6.
