When will Nikon upgrade the D4's sensor ?

I think Nikon is well aware that many D4 users don't want 24-36 MP because it would just slow down their workflow and their file transfers and it simply isn't needed or appreciated for what they shoot.

I think that Nikon is well aware that most D4 users don't need more than 16MP.

And, for those that do think they need more than 16MP, Nikon has the D800 and D3x to meet those needs.  I think it's more likely that we see a 36MP D4x (different camera for different needs) than it is that we see a 36MP D4s (force everyone to the high MP).
