Looking for a travel tripod

the acratech ultimate ballhead and a gitzo traveller (or perhaps a 3leggedthing) tripod

3leggedthings I am a little weary about recommending for arctic winter use though, the bonding they use are not really reliable in arctic winter conditions. I hvae had mine loos the mounting palte for the feets as the bonding became brittle and released when being exposed to -30 degrees and snow for a couple of hours.

other than that they are pretty OK for the price.
