Any recommendations on a crash course in CS6?

Lynda.com is very good. If you google, you can probably find a free 7 day trial. You'll likely subscribe by the end of that week. If you can study for an hour or two a day, you'll be up to speed with CS6 in a couple of months. At Lynda I can recommend (in this order):
