One doesn't have to 'earn' a product by virtue of skill and desire.

It is quite possible that someone could be satisfied with one lens. Maybe they like the GX1 or the EM5 because of how they look or handle.

Or maybe they buy it with one lens, but get to try out one of the fast primes, and see why they might want another. Seeing is believing.

However we cut it, the more people who buy into M43, the more all of us benefit from volume production and greater glass and body options. I welcome anyone who wants to use only one lens on a M43 body. They might try another someday, and unlike the high end compacts that cost about the same, the M43 body does have the option to use better glass, without screwing a clumsy add on to the end of a compact lens.

I really don't think it's helpful to set arbitrary standoards on who should or should not buy a product. In the end, how an individual spends their money and their spare time is no one's business but theirs.

There may be another angle to the "one lens" equation.
For the user who might not be interested in changing lenses or having additional lenses available the possibility exists to customize the camera to one's use.
I think this is borne out (for example) by the availability of the kits that include just the wide angle lens such as the GX1/14mm kit.

Granted this makes for a larger, heavier and more expensive P&S but it justifies the interchangeable lens feature without the need to ever change a lens.

Just a thought ... carry on ...
