Thoughts? No FW800 on new iMacs

It is an effective work around, but it does mean having an extra thing to carry around and and extra thing that needs to be plugged in. For the iMacs, it's not horrible, for the MacBooks, it's very annoying because you can't just tether on location with battery power without having a separate power supply for the firewire dock. They are also expensive ($400) and not available (Belkin keeps pushing back the release date, should be available some time next year).
