Foggy, Foggy Dew

I awoke a few days ago in a real fog. Nope I wasn't hung over, it was just one of those exceptional fall fogs, so I jumped up, grabbed my gear and took for one of my favorite local photo spots and started clicking. Now I'm one of those old time photographers that values post production as much as shooting.  So while I was happy with what I had gotten, I knew the work had just begun. Here is are a few sample downsized images from my morning in the foggy, foggy dew.

Ramapo River, New Jersey Sepia and Selenium preset in Topaz Black and White Effects plugin with Photoshop CS6

Similar to the other shot but 3 image HDR PRO in PS CS6 but I lowered the detail some to blur the background a bit more, then I added the sepia in Topaz Black and White Effects.

I remembered this old folk song, but (who knew) the meaning of "Foggy Dew" is 18th century was not much to do with fog or dew.
